Yay I completed one of my 101 Day Zero tasks! I had a laser eye surgery consultation and they are unable to offer the procedure to me as my prescription is too unstable. It has changed from -8.50 to -9.75 in 6 months. My eyes are healthy and these frequent changes are not uncommon (apparently) but they are unable to perform the surgery until I have had the same prescription for at least a year. Oh well, it sounds like it would have been about £4000 anyway!
She also told me that I am fine with my contact lenses as they are stronger but it is basically illegal for me to drive with my glasses on, thats good to know.
5 Positives for today:
- Completed my first Day Zero task.
- Had Swedish meatballs for dinner.
- Had a laser eye surgery consultation and was told that if I had retinitis pigmentosa (like my grandmother) I would certainly know as its hard to miss.
- Caught up with one of my sales targets that I’ve been struggling with all month.
- Finished my book.
