Today the kids at work did a community photo scavenger hunt. I loved this photo so much that I asked her parents to release it to me for my photo of the day!

5 Positives:

  1. Mum, Ted & Nat came to visit.
  2. Visited with Ted’s parents for family night.
  3. Chinese food buffet for dinner!
  4. Got the car moved into the underground parking.
  5. Mum topped up my phone.

This captures the essence of childhood pretty wonderfully, doesn’t it? What exactly is a community photo scavenger hunt? I teach photography to my elementary schoolers and wonder if it’s something I can incorporate. Would love to hear about it.

Also, I have to tell you, your site is unique as a 365 site in that it chronicles not only your experiences as a photographer, but your experiences in life. I think you do a really nice job.

Thank you very much for your feedback! I am really enjoying this project.

A Community Photo Scavenger Hunt (aka: Photo Panic) is a program where kids are broken into teams and given a list of clues that will lead them to a location in the city. Once at each location the team must take a photo that meets certain criteria, for example take a photo in front of the candy shop eating candy.

Teams get points for their photos and whoever gets to the end first. Bonus points can be incorporated to make it more fun, for example if you see another team get a photo of them or get a photo with a police officer.

It is a really fun activity! Let me know if you find a way to incorporate it and how it goes!
